Aaaaaaaagh.
June 11, 2009Totally burnt-out, and I have a hellish summer to get through. Bought a house, now have two dead baby birds in the molding above the front door. And many little tiny bugs going to and from their little dead baby bird carcasses.
Dissertation: have a deadline for two chapter drafts, don’t see how it’s ever going to come together, given that I currently have no help with the kids and #2 is rather needy.
Kids: TV is raising them.
Me: Utterly exhausted – literally. I can’t sit down without passing out. Except at night, when I can’t sleep for worrying about the dissertation, crappy parenting, and dead baby birds.
Cardiac episode: Probably imminent.
i have missed your blogging! hope you are all doing well….
Thank you! I’ve been reading yours (but not commenting much, I’m afraid) on my Google Reader. I love seeing the pictures of the kids!
Is it wrong of me to laugh at your last line?
I’m so sure that there is absolutely no crappy parenting going on there. Gah, I wish I could lend you a hand somehow. Hope you get that draft done… but remember, it’s a draft! I always say that, for drafts, just get your ideas on paper – organize them later.
You can do it!!!
It’s not wrong at all to laugh – that was the idea.
No, parenting is really crappy around here lately. The TV is raising them, to the point that M2 uses television as reference for the rest of her life. I have got to get them out more.
